We are constantly replenishing our inventory, and sometimes we will have to make a vintage substitution. We reserve the right to substitute the vintage of any bottle under $15 without notification. If a vintage substitution is needed for a wine over $15, we will send an email notification and wait 24 hours for your response before shipping the available vintage. If you are vintage specific please leave a note in the comment section at checkout. We will never substitute with a Shmita vintage. Thank you for your understanding.

Winemaker's Notes
The Essence Malbec grapes originate from a vineyard site which has a unique and ideal microclimate. This site in the Ayalon Valley has a distinguishing airflow, allowing the vines to cool in the evening from the average daily temperatures. This Malbec vineyard was planted with clone 595 scion on SO4 rootstock. The SO4 rootstock restricts vigor thereby maintaining balanced vines. The combination of the French origin scion and SO4 rootstock, contributes to the high-quality fruit. Additionally, this vineyard underwent several fruit thinnings to allow for a harvest of uniformly ripe and highly concentrated aromatic and flavorful fruit.
Products are packed with coolant during their journey to ensure they arrive in great shape. Meats will arrive frozen or refrigerated. Most of our products are shipped frozen; occasionally, due to a very quick turnaround between when the meats arrive at our freezing and distribution facility and when they are delivered to you, meats may be shipped fresh. Meat that is cold to the touch can be refrigerated for immediate use, or frozen for later use.
