Shiran The Soprano 2019

Winemaker's Notes

Made with dedication and expertise, the Shiran Soprano is a expertly crafted blend of Grenache from Gush Etzion hills vineyards and Petite Sirah from the Ben Zimrah vineyard. These varietals come together to make a fruit forward, well oaked red blend. This high acid wine shows notes of blueberry, raspberry, spicebox, and a hint of green. The color is showing a youthful purple leaning to ruby red. The nose is floral, but with an underlying cranberry smoke base. The tannins are smooth and balanced with vanilla oak flavor. The Shiran Soprano is drinking beautifully now, and will continue to age gracefully for at least 4-6 years from vintage.
