We are constantly replenishing our inventory, and sometimes we will have to make a vintage substitution. We reserve the right to substitute the vintage of any bottle under $15 without notification. If a vintage substitution is needed for a wine over $15, we will send an email notification and wait 24 hours for your response before shipping the available vintage. If you are vintage specific please leave a note in the comment section at checkout. We will never substitute with a Shmita vintage. Thank you for your understanding.

Winemaker's Notes
This Special Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is the first of its kind harvest by Herzog in Northern California's Lake county, a unique terroir with red volcanic soil, dry climate, and high elevation. The nose is filled with rich aromas of blackberry jam, cassis, and mocha with subtler notes of sandalwood and vanilla. Cherry and spicy are more concentrated on the palate which combine with velvety tannins and subtle notes of leather over a long finish. Pairs well with grilled and roasted meats, duck, and dark chocolate.
Products are packed with coolant during their journey to ensure they arrive in great shape. Meats will arrive frozen or refrigerated. Most of our products are shipped frozen; occasionally, due to a very quick turnaround between when the meats arrive at our freezing and distribution facility and when they are delivered to you, meats may be shipped fresh. Meat that is cold to the touch can be refrigerated for immediate use, or frozen for later use.
