Winemaker's Notes
Gvaot Winery, founded in 2005, is a true estate winery located in Givat Harel, near Shiloh. Shiva Drori, the winemaker, has created magnificent wines and is an expert on the ancient winemaking of Israel. This wine was produced from 92% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and 8% Merlot, harvested from vineyards planted on the slopes of the central hills in the Shomron. The wine is characterized by aromas of ripe black fruit, eucalyptus and nuts. It boasts a rich and long lasting flavor. The wine was aged in oak barrels for 12 months, and will continue to improve for the next few years. This wine was bottled unfiltered. The series consists of 5800 bottles. Pair with Entrecote or rich stews.
