We are constantly replenishing our inventory, and sometimes we will have to make a vintage substitution. We reserve the right to substitute the vintage of any bottle under $15 without notification. If a vintage substitution is needed for a wine over $15, we will send an email notification and wait 24 hours for your response before shipping the available vintage. If you are vintage specific please leave a note in the comment section at checkout. We will never substitute with a Shmita vintage. Thank you for your understanding.

Winemaker's Notes
Domaine du Castel Winery was founded in 1988 in the Judean Hills near Jerusalem. Eli ben Zaken founded it as an estate winery, and his wines have become world famous. This wine is 100% Chardonnay. Domaine du Castel is an Estate West of Jerusalem at an altitude of 2400 feet. The vineyards are planted at a density of 6700 vines per hectare and produce very small yields. The grapes were handpicked and the must was barrel fermented and aged 12 months on its lees in French oak.
Products are packed with coolant during their journey to ensure they arrive in great shape. Meats will arrive frozen or refrigerated. Most of our products are shipped frozen; occasionally, due to a very quick turnaround between when the meats arrive at our freezing and distribution facility and when they are delivered to you, meats may be shipped fresh. Meat that is cold to the touch can be refrigerated for immediate use, or frozen for later use.
