Dalton Estate Petite Sirah 2020

Winemaker's Notes

This Petite Sirah is part of Dalton's Estate series wines and is sourced from grapes grown in Israel's Galilee. The wine takes on a unique character from the terroir and being aged in oak barrels. The wine itself is a dark deep purple that lightens slightly at the rim. The aroma is oakey with sweet jam smells, floral notes, and blueberries. The refreshing smell also includes a hint of fresh leather. It is full bodied with strong bite and more of the same strong oak and red fruit flavors that were present in the nose. The tannins are light, but the acidity gives this rich and aromatic wine a pleasant bite. Pairs well with roasted meats and rich bread, or enjoy with soft cheeses.
