We are constantly replenishing our inventory, and sometimes we will have to make a vintage substitution. We reserve the right to substitute the vintage of any bottle under $15 without notification. If a vintage substitution is needed for a wine over $15, we will send an email notification and wait 24 hours for your response before shipping the available vintage. If you are vintage specific please leave a note in the comment section at checkout. We will never substitute with a Shmita vintage. Thank you for your understanding.

Winemaker's Notes
Chateau Fourcas-Dupre is located in the Listrac commune of Bordeaux, which is well-known as an area rich in Âhidden gems that rival higher-priced bottles from the legendary banks of the Gironde estuary. Its premier wine is a blend of 44% each Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with 10% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot contributing complexity and structure. The wine pours a deep garnet color, with aromatics of blackberry, spice, cigar box and fresh asphalt. The palate currently shows ripe fruits such as plum and currant, with well-integrated oak influences. It is capable of aging in bottle for up to 20 years from vintage, properly stored. Products are packed with coolant during their journey to ensure they arrive in great shape. Meats will arrive frozen or refrigerated. Most of our products are shipped frozen; occasionally, due to a very quick turnaround between when the meats arrive at our freezing and distribution facility and when they are delivered to you, meats may be shipped fresh. Meat that is cold to the touch can be refrigerated for immediate use, or frozen for later use.
