Each style of Barons de Rothschild champagne has the exceptional characteristics of a great champagne. Barons de Rothschild Brut is a rich, complex and ethereal wine. It is made by blending Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from France's famed Champagne region and aged at least three years in French oak barrels. This unique blend gives the wine its fine bubbles and golden hay color. The aroma is earthy with a subtle hint of white fruits. The taste is balanced with a taste of pears and a slight nuttiness. This champagne has a touch of bitterness at the end, but an overall nice finish with balanced acidity. The aroma and flavors linger on the tongue giving this wine good length and a pleasant aftertaste.
