Alfasi Cabernet Sauvignon is from the Carta Vieja Winery, which in 1997 became the original Kosher winery in Chile. French grapes were introduced there in the 1980s. Produced under the Alfasi name, this Cabernet Sauvignon will demonstrate why Chile's reputation for delicious Cabernet Sauvignon has been soaring worldwide for over a decade. Deep in Chile's Maule Valley, where the soil and climate is ideal for the highest-quality red grapes, winemaker Hector Saldivia crafts wines of incomparable richness and balance. With dark berry aromas preceeding a flavor profile featuring cassis, cedar, and toasty oak. This is a red wine value you don't want to pass you by. The wine is great paired with rack of lamb, veal osso buco, or thin crust pizza.
