We are constantly replenishing our inventory, and sometimes we will have to make a vintage substitution. We reserve the right to substitute the vintage of any bottle under $15 without notification. If a vintage substitution is needed for a wine over $15, we will send an email notification and wait 24 hours for your response before shipping the available vintage. If you are vintage specific please leave a note in the comment section at checkout. We will never substitute with a Shmita vintage. Thank you for your understanding.

Winemaker's Notes
The boutique bottlings of Alexander represent owner/winemaker Yoram Shalom's tireless drive for perfection and his desire to create world-class wines that reflect Israel's terroir. Alexander Special Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon leaves no doubt he has succeeded in his mission. Sourced from the Upper Galilee, thought by many to be home to Israel's best vineyards, the grapes are carefully selected and only harvested at their perfect peak of ripeness and balance. In the winery, Shalom applies painstaking, spare-no-expense winemaking techniques to coax the very best flavors from the fermentation. The proof is in the bottle: Deep color, aromas of cassis, roasted coffee beans and menthol, giant flavors of blackberry and fresh vanilla bean. Try it with a rustic lamb stew, Steak Diane, or even a Chicago-style deep dish pizza.
Products are packed with coolant during their journey to ensure they arrive in great shape. Meats will arrive frozen or refrigerated. Most of our products are shipped frozen; occasionally, due to a very quick turnaround between when the meats arrive at our freezing and distribution facility and when they are delivered to you, meats may be shipped fresh. Meat that is cold to the touch can be refrigerated for immediate use, or frozen for later use.
